What are the 2026 Centre Court dates and schedule of play?
Centre Court is used throughout The Championships, from Monday 29 June 2026 to Sunday 12 July 2026.
Centre Court follows a familiar round-by-round pattern. First round: 29-30 June. Second round: 1-2 July. Third round: 3-4 July. Fourth round: 5-6 July. Quarter-finals: 7-8 July. Women's semi-finals: 9 July. Men's semi-finals: 10 July. Finals weekend: Ladies' Singles Final on Saturday 11 July, and the Gentlemen's Singles Final on Sunday 12 July.
A key Wimbledon tradition is that the opening match on Centre Court is reserved for the defending men's singles champion. That makes an appearance from Jannik Sinner on Centre Court at the start of Wimbledon 2026 a strong possibility.
The exact order of play is confirmed the evening before. Timing can still shift with weather and match length, but Centre Court is the main stage from the opening Monday to finals Sunday.

No. Anyone can buy debenture tickets. Debenture holders sell them on the secondary market.
Can I choose my exact seat location?
Yes. Listings on Green & Purple show exact seat details as soon as the AELTC allocates seats, usually in February before the Tournament. You can then choose by court, day, gangway, row and seat numbers. Before seat allocation, listings show seat details as 'TBC'. We will notify buyers as soon as seat numbers are confirmed.
Will our seats be together?
Yes. Most debenture tickets are sold in adjacent pairs, and seat numbers are shown on listings so you can choose seats side by side.
Which debenture seats are best?
It depends on what you prefer. Many buyers choose seats nearer the front and closer to the middle of the court. Listings show view notes, shade and seat location so you can compare.
How does Green & Purple protect buyers?
Tickets are issued as e-tickets via the official myWimbledon app and the process is integrated with it. Payment is released to the seller only after the buyer has received and confirmed the tickets.
When will I receive my tickets?
All Wimbledon tickets are e-tickets held in the official myWimbledon mobile app, and are scanned on the app when you enter the Wimbledon grounds.
