Wimbledon Debentures & Debenture Tickets - What's the difference?

A Wimbledon Debenture Ticket entitles the holder to a seat on either Centre Court or No.1 Court for a specific day at the Championships. The holder can also access the exclusive Debenture restaurants, bars and lounges.

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are not the same as Wimbledon Debentures. In this article we explain the difference:

Wimbledon Debentures

A Wimbledon Debenture is a financial instrument (debt security) issued by The All England Lawn Tennis Ground, which is owned by the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Limited (AELTC).

Wimbledon Debentures are issued every five years and give Debenture Holders an allocation of Wimbledon Debenture Tickets for every day of The Championships, for a five year period.

Sold in pairs, there are two kinds of Wimbledon Debentures:

• Centre Court Debentures - holders receive a book of 5-years’ of Centre Court tickets.
• No.1 Court Debentures -  holders receive a book of 5-years’ of No.1 Court tickets.

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets the most sought after tickets at The Championships, serving up the best views of the world’s best tennis stars.

A Wimbledon Debenture Ticket entitles the Debenture Ticket holder to a seat in the exclusive club-level Debenture seats, on Centre Court and No.1 Court.

Debenture Tickets also entitle the Ticket Holder to access the exclusive Debenture Holder lounges, bars and restaurants at the Tournament.

If you fancy even more of a tennis fix, Debenture Ticket Holders can watch the play on the outside courts in the morning.

The VIP experience starts when you arrive at the designated Debenture parking area and enter the Grounds via the Debenture entrance at Gate 4.

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are the only Wimbledon Tickets that can be legally bought and sold. Debenture Holders (and Debenture Ticket Holders) are entitled to sell their Wimbledon Debenture Tickets.

When can I buy Wimbledon Debenture Tickets?

Although the seats for Wimbledon Debenture Tickets aren't issued until the May before the Tournament, the market for buying and selling Wimbledon Debenture tickets is active all year round.
