How and When Will I Receive my Wimbledon Tickets?

Although there is a lot of buying, selling and balloting activity over the year, in the lead up to the Championships, the AELTC doesn’t distribute the actual tickets until shortly before the start of the Tournament.

When you receive your tickets will depend on the type of ticket you have.

E-tickets

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) has now stopped issuing paper tickets to the Wimbledon Championships. Since 2021, tennis fans attending the Tournament have been issued a mobile e-ticket instead.

E tickets are distributed electronically via the official ‘myWimbledon’ App.

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets purchased through Green & Purple

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are sent out to Wimbledon Debenture Holders by the AELTC approximately 6 weeks before the start of the Tournament.

If you have purchased a Wimbledon Debenture Ticket directly from a Debenture Holder, the Debenture Holder will need to forward the Debenture ticket to you as soon as they receive it from then AELTC.

If you have purchased a Debenture Ticket from a Debenture Holder through Green & Purple, we will receive the Debenture Ticket from the Debenture Holder as soon the ticket is issued.

We will then forward the ticket to your MyWimbledon App account. Your payment will only be released to the seller once the Tournament has taken place. If, for any reason the Tournament is cancelled, the ticket would be automatically cancelled by the AELTC and Green & Purple will issue you a full refund in line with our Purchase Guarantee.

When are Wimbledon Tickets distributed?

The following table is an indication of when you can expect to receive your Wimbledon Championships tickets.

Corporate Hospitality Tickets	Approx. 6 weeks before the start of the Tournament
The Queue	Collected at the gate on the morning of play.
Returned Tickets	Collected at the resale kiosk throughout the day.
