Ticket prices can change quickly in the run up to The Championships. Demand varies by day, court, and seat location. This guide explains the main factors that influence price and how to use Price Tracker and PriceAssist tools set the optimal asking price and make the best returns, if you decide to sell some of your Wimbledon debenture tickets.

How our suggested pricing works

Our suggested pricing is based on two inputs:

  • Ticket premiums (seat factors that often increase value)
  • Market prices (what similar tickets are listed for, and what they have sold for)

Ticket premiums (seat factors that can add value)

Buyers often pay more for:

  • Seat certainty: Buyers are usually prepared to pay more if they know exactly where they will be sitting. With Green & Purple, you can specify  your exact numbers when listing your tickets.
  • Adjacent seats: pairs are most common. Groups of 3+ are rarer, and groups of 4+ can attract a premium because they are harder to find.
  • Location: seats in the 200 gangways often list for more than comparable seats in the 300s, because parts of the 200s (in most cases)are closer to the court.
  • Proximity to the Royal Box: seats in gangways near or behind the Royal Box can be popular with buyers and may sell at a premium. This often includes gangways 201 and 212 (adjacent to the Royal Box), 202 and 211 (close to it), 203 and 210 (strong views of the court and the Royal Box), and 301 and 318 (directly behind the Royal Box).
  • Afternoon shade: some buyers prefer areas that tend to be shadier later in the day.

Tip: compare rows, not just gangways

Gangway numbers can be misleading because gangways cover irregular shapes and can span a wide range of rows. It is usually clearer to compare seats by row. For example, Gangway 303 can include rows from the front of the debenture section (Row A) to the rear debenture rows (Row V). Use the Wimbledon debenture seating plan to see how rows and gangways are laid out..

Use Price Tracker to plan when to list

Without reliable market data, it is easy to underprice your tickets or sell too soon. Price Tracker is available to debenture holders and is updated daily. It shows what similar tickets have actually sold for on Green & Purple in 2026 and previous years, and when demand typically peaks.

In Price Tracker you can review:

  • Seasonal trends and monthly demand across past seasons and Wimbledon 2026
  • Pricing trends for each day of the Tournament
  • Highest and median per-ticket sale prices
  • Notes explaining key peaks and changes
  • Centre Court versus No.1 Court trends

Debenture holders can sign in or register an account to use Price Tracker with no obligation to list tickets.

Use Price Assist to set your asking price

When you list tickets, Price Assist suggests an asking price using current market prices on Green & Purple and from third-party sources (such as other marketplaces and ticket resellers) for comparable listings. It also considers seat position and current demand signals.

Note: larger adjacent groups (3, 4, 6 seats together) can attract a premium because they are rarer. Price Assist does not automatically add a ‘group-size premium’, so you may want to adjust your asking price if you are listing an unusually large adjacent group.

Common pricing mistakes to avoid

  • Pricing by gangway number alone (compare rows as well)
  • Listing too early without checking recent sold prices in Price Tracker
  • Forgetting to update your asking price as demand changes

Price Assist

When listing tickets, sellers can also use the Price Assist tool which makes listing price suggestions based on current market prices from Green & Purple third-party sources (e.g. other marketplaces and ticket resellers) for similar ticket listings

Price suggestions also consider in a range of factors including the position of the seats and the current market. These seats are in a good position, so the suggested price per ticket is slightly higher than for tickets elsewhere on the court. Debenture tickets are typically owned and sold in pairs. Larger groups and odd numbers of adjacent tickets (e.g. 3, 4 or 6 seats together) are rare and may sell at a premium. Our suggested pricing does not include this premium.
