In 2022, Green & Purple were sponsors of the GB Padel Team at the World Championships in Las Vegas.
The following was some of the coverage from the 2022 World Championships.

Day 1 - 28 March, 2022
The team's worst nightmare - drawn against current world champions, Spain:
The GB ladies team were drawn with Portugal Denmark and German.
The ladies had a tough first match vs Denmark but won the last match (ladies 35) to win the match 2-1 and play one of the top seeds Portugal Tuesday.
The top 2 teams go through to the QF.(the ladies have only 3 age groups and play 1 pair from each 35,40 & 45)
The men have had a very tough draw, playing Spain, France & Chile, on paper the toughest group.
The men played Spain on the first day. Spain are the current world champions winning the first world championships beating Argentina in the final.
The Spanish team is littered with wormer world padel players including open world champions!
GB lost 5-0 (as expected)
The team plays Chile Tuesday who lost a close match to France today. The top 2 teams qualify for the QF. (Men have 5 age groups and play 1 pair from each 35,40,45,50 & 55)
Day 2 - 29 March, 2022
The ladies won a tight match vs Germany 3-0 and are currently joint top of their group with their final group fixture vs top seed Portugal. The result will decide who they play in the quarter finals.
The men had another tough match vs Chile and although a number of the matches were tight, they lost 5-0. Their final group match is vs France , who beat Chile 5-0 yesterday!
Day 5 - 1 April 2022
The World Championships finished with Spain retaining the men's and ladies titles. The men beat Argentina in a repeat of the last final and the ladies defeated Portugal.
In the men's event France beat Sweden for 3rd place.
GB ladies finished 8th losing to Denmark in their play off.
The men finished 15th beating Denmark 3-2 in their play off.
The GB men came 4th in their group but it turned out to be the strongest group with Spain winning, France 3rd and Chile 9th. GB lost 3-2 to Germany in a very tight match in the Quarter Final’s.
