Can I Sell my Wimbledon Debenture Tickets at the Last Minute?
Yes. If your plans change, you can still list Wimbledon debenture tickets for sale through Green & Purple at short notice, including close to the day of play.
This is an important reassurance for debenture holders. Plans can change suddenly for all sorts of reasons, including illness, travel disruption, work commitments, or simply no longer being able to attend. If that happens, Green & Purple gives you a practical way to sell your tickets rather than let them go unused and lose your money.
Can tickets really sell close to the event?
Yes. Green & Purple supports both advance and last-minute sales, and we have helped many sellers list and sell tickets at short notice.
In 2025, one seller called us mid-flight when their plane was delayed and they realised they would miss play. We helped them list their tickets at 2:35pm on the day of play, and they sold at the asking price at 2:42pm.
Of course, no sale can ever be guaranteed, especially very close to the event, because demand, timing and price still matter. But last-minute sales are usually possible, and Green & Purple has experience helping sellers move quickly when plans change unexpectedly.

How last-minute selling works
If your debenture tickets have already been issued into myWimbledon, they can be listed for sale through the Green & Purple marketplace. Buyers can then view the listing, see the exact seats, and either buy instantly or make an offer.
Once a buyer pays, the tickets are transferred to Green & Purple's myWimbledon account and then on to the buyer. Our team helps manage the process so that urgent transfers can be handled as smoothly as possible.
When can I list the tickets?
Tickets can only be listed for resale once the AELTC has distributed the electronic tickets into myWimbledon, which is usually in May. After that, they can be listed at any point up to the event, subject to there being enough time and buyer demand.
What affects whether they will sell?
Last-minute sales depend on several factors, including the match day, court, seat location, how the tickets are priced, and how much buyer demand there is at the time. Tickets with realistic pricing will usually sell.
A practical fall back if plans change
One of the advantages of Wimbledon debenture tickets is that they can be transferred and resold. That gives debenture holders more flexibility than many other ticket types if something unexpected happens.
That does not mean every ticket will always sell, especially at the last minute. But if you can no longer attend, Green & Purple gives you a practical route to try to recover value from your tickets.
