Can I Resell my Tickets if I Cannot go?
Yes. If you buy Wimbledon debenture tickets and your plans change, you can relist and sell your tickets through the Green & Purple marketplace once the tickets have been distributed by the AELTC into myWimbledon, which is usually in May.
This is an important reassurance for many buyers, especially those travelling from overseas. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, it is usually possible to resell your tickets.'
Why this matters to buyers
For many people, buying Wimbledon tickets means committing to flights, accommodation and other travel arrangements well in advance. That can feel risky, especially when plans can change unexpectedly.
Debenture tickets are different from most other Wimbledon tickets because they can be transferred and resold. That gives buyers an important fallback if something unexpected happens.
If you want the broader rules, read our guide to reselling Wimbledon tickets.

How reselling works if your plans change
Once the AELTC has issued your tickets into your myWimbledon app, you can relist them for sale through Green & Purple. Buyers use the platform to browse exact seats, buy instantly or make offers, so your tickets are marketed in the same way as other debenture tickets on the site.
That means if your plans change after buying, there is usually still a route to resell your tickets, provided there is enough time to complete the TICKET transfer.
Can tickets really sell at the last minute?
Yes. The Green & Purple platform is designed to accommodate last-minute debenture ticket sales up to 2:00 PM BST on the day itself.
Last-minute demand is usually strong, and we have helped many buyers and sellers relist and sell tickets at short notice. As soon as your tickets are listed, a ticket alert is sent to registered buyers.
Of course, no sale can ever be guaranteed, especially very close to the event, because timing and demand still matter. But Green & Purple has years of experience handling urgent, last-minute resales and helping clients move quickly when plans suddenly change.
If you are dealing with a very late change of plans, see our guide to selling Wimbledon debenture tickets at the last minute.
A practical safety net for overseas buyers
For many international buyers, flexibility matters almost as much as the ticket itself. Flights can be delayed or cancelled, travel plans can change, and unforeseen events can make attendance impossible.
Knowing that debenture tickets can be relisted gives buyers an important safety net. It does not remove all the risk, but it can reduce the worry of being left with unusable tickets if plans change.
