Green & Purple Management Team

Natasha Bhatia
Founder
Natasha’s love affair with tennis started with playing for her school team and playing truant to watch Wimbledon, joining the queue at 6am. This activity came to an abrupt end when she was spotted by her headmistress in the crowd on the news on national television.
Tennis was subsequently abandoned as she embarked on a professional career in Investment Banking and Private Equity in Paris and London working for Credit Suisse and Apax Partners.
Realising that she was more excited about being on the other side of the negotiating table she left Apax to pursue her own projects as an entrepreneur and angel investor. Projects have been varied spanning organic skincare, open source database management software, legal consumer services, probiotics and commercial property.
An unexpected invitation to the Men’s Semi Finals at Roland Garros in 2013 reignited Natasha’s love for tennis and an obsession with Rafael Nadal.
Natasha subsequently became a Wimbledon debenture holder. Frustrated by the inefficient resale market for Wimbledon debenture tickets, she founded Green & Purple with her business partners.
Natasha is also passionate about Social Ventures and has been a Trustee of the Belu Foundation since 2012. The Belu Foundation is the Foundation for Belu Water www.belu.org. Belu is a drinks business that invests 100% of its net profits into clean water projects around the world through its strategic partnership with Wateraid. Today Belu has generated nearly £6m for Wateraid, Wateraid is also supported by the Wimbledon Foundation.
Patrick McIntyre
CEO
A relative newcomer to the world of tennis, Patrick discovered the game in 2020 after being cajoled into an impromptu game of doubles. He can offer no explanation why he spent so much of his life oblivious to the game, but he is now obsessed with the sport, playing regularly at his local club.
Following a career as a pilot, Patrick worked in legal software development at Slaughter and May, Patrick has subsequently co-founded numerous successful ventures in SRA, MoJ and FCA regulated sectors, including the legal and property tech sectors.
Patrick is a founding partner and CEO of Green and Purple. As a debenture holder Patrick became quickly aware of the shortcomings in the Wimbledon debenture tickets market.
Patrick maintains that Djokovic is the greatest athlete to ever exist - a source of regular (good natured) arguments with Natasha.
Chris Salmon
COO
Chris refuses to play tennis.
Chris is a Cambridge University graduate. In the early days, Chris directed a US Shakespeare tour and harboured dreams of becoming a bestselling author. Then reality happened.
Described by colleagues as “a complex algorithm”, Chris has worked in the online and legal sectors, designing, building and operating complex client-facing and backend systems. Chris has held responsibility for securing and maintaining FCA, GDPR and ICO compliance within MoJ and FCA regulated businesses.
Unsurprisingly, his favourite player is Daniil Medvedev. Chris is happy to explain to anyone with an hour to spare why tennis is such an incredible blend of drama and game design. He is yet to work out how to leverage AI into the conversation, but give it time.
It was an easy process
"I thought I'd send you a short note to thank you for dealing so efficiently with my Wimbledon debentures in 2021. It was an easy process to sell the days I didn't want to Green and Purple and payment was made promptly. I look forward to dealing with you again in the future."
