Rafael Nadal announces comeback
Arguably the biggest event of the month came off the court however, as Nadal announced that he would return to the tour at the start of the 2024 season. He will participate in the Brisbane ATP 250, as well as the Australian Open. Nadal has not played since the 2023 edition of the Australian Open.
Djokovic and Alcaraz face off in Saudi Arabia
In Riyadh, Novak Djokovic played against Carlos Alcaraz, in a battle of the top two ranked players in the world. Alcaraz came from a set down to secure a 4-6 6-4 6-4 win.
Elsewhere, Jack Draper impressed in the Ultimate Tennis Showdown in London, coming away with the trophy in a field containing the likes of Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune and Casper Ruud. Rublev then teamed up with Daniil Medvedev, Mirra Andreeva and Sofia Kenin to win the World Tennis League in Abu Dhabi. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina also played in the event.

It was an easy process
"I thought I'd send you a short note to thank you for dealing so efficiently with my Wimbledon debentures in 2021. It was an easy process to sell the days I didn't want to Green and Purple and payment was made promptly. I look forward to dealing with you again in the future."
