What Does the Market Data Tell Us?
Prices rose ahead of Wimbledon 2026
Between August 2025 and April 2026, median Centre Court prices rose 32% (£2,695 to £3,570). No.1 Court prices increased 29% (£1,845 to £2,385).
Prices softened as Wimbledon approached
Both courts saw median prices fall during June and July 2026, following higher prices in the spring. Selling closer to The Championships does not necessarily mean achieving a higher price. Read our guide to the best time to sell Wimbledon debenture tickets for further guidance.
The Men's Final commands the highest prices
Centre Court Day 14 recorded a median of approximately £11,700 per ticket, followed by the Men's Semi-finals on Day 12 at £9,000. Most other days were considerably cheaper.
No.1 Court prices peak towards the end
Median prices reached approximately £2,800 on Days 9 and 10 before falling to around £1,250 on Day 11, the final day with No.1 Court debenture tickets.
About the Data and Methodology
Green & Purple's Market Tracker combines two sources of Wimbledon debenture ticket pricing data:
- Weekly market snapshots: We record advertised ticket prices from a broad selection of more than 10 established Wimbledon debenture ticket sellers and marketplaces.
- Green & Purple sales data: We incorporate prices from completed transactions through our own marketplace, providing a record of what buyers actually paid.
How We Analyse the Data
Our historical data currently covers 2025 and 2026. Prices are presented per ticket in pounds sterling and analysed by court, month and Championship day.
The charts show median prices, which represent the midpoint of recorded prices, alongside the highest prices observed.
Understanding the Figures
Advertised prices do not necessarily reflect what tickets eventually sell for. Our weekly snapshots capture prices at a particular point in time, while Green & Purple's transaction records provide actual sale prices.
The data represents a broad sample of the resale market, rather than every ticket listed or sold. Prices can also vary according to seat location, Championship day, ticket quantity and market conditions. See our Wimbledon seating plan to understand how seat positions differ across both courts.
Market Tracker is updated regularly as new pricing information becomes available.
For official information about Wimbledon debentures and the rights they provide, see Wimbledon's debenture information.
How to Use Market Tracker
Market Tracker helps put Wimbledon debenture ticket prices into context. It shows historical market activity rather than current asking prices or a valuation of individual tickets.
For Buyers
Compare historical selling prices across Centre Court and No.1 Court to understand how prices vary by Championship day and time of purchase.
When you're ready to buy, browse the live marketplace to compare available tickets, current asking prices and exact seat locations where allocated.
For Debenture Holders
Explore historical price patterns and differences between Championship days. Median prices provide a useful starting point when assessing the market.
For guidance on pricing your own tickets, use Price Assist. It considers current market information and the characteristics of your seats, particularly once exact seat allocations are known.
Market Tracker FAQs
Does Market Tracker show actual sale prices or asking prices?
Both. Our weekly market snapshots capture advertised prices from more than 10 Wimbledon debenture ticket sellers and marketplaces. Green & Purple's transaction records show actual completed sales. Advertised prices do not necessarily reflect what buyers eventually pay.
How often is Market Tracker updated?
We collect new market pricing data every week and incorporate completed sales through Green & Purple. Our charts are updated regularly as new information becomes available.
Do Wimbledon debenture ticket prices rise closer to the tournament?
Not necessarily. Our 2026 data shows that median prices on both courts increased during the preceding months but softened in June and July. There is no guaranteed peak selling period.
Why are Centre Court debenture tickets generally more expensive?
Centre Court hosts the singles finals and offers debenture tickets for all 14 days. No.1 Court debenture tickets cover the first 11 days. Prices also depend on the matches scheduled, seat location and demand. Compare our Centre Court and No.1 Court guides.
Can Market Tracker help me price my Wimbledon debenture tickets?
Yes. Market Tracker provides historical pricing trends to help you understand the wider market. For guidance on pricing your specific seats, use Price Assist. See our Wimbledon debenture ticket pricing guide.
