This could be a moment on court, life around the Grounds, the atmosphere in the crowd, or the details that define the day.
Style, tradition, tension, celebration and quiet moments all count.
Photos can be from any year. They can be taken inside the Grounds, outside the Grounds, while travelling to Wimbledon, or anywhere else that clearly reflects the Wimbledon experience.

Accepted file formats are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. Each image must be no larger than 5MB.

Judging criteria
Entries will be judged on originality, quality and how well they capture the theme.
The judges will look for strong composition, clear focus and thoughtful use of light, as well as images that feel authentic and distinctive. Both technical execution and the story or moment captured will be considered.

Eligibility and rules
Photos must be your own original work.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You must own the rights to every photo you submit. You must also have permission from anyone clearly identifiable in your photo, where permission is required.
AI-generated images are not permitted. Minor edits such as cropping, exposure correction, colour adjustment, focus enhancement and light balancing are allowed, including edits made by phone cameras and built-in filters. You must not add, remove or materially alter any elements in the image.
We can select no more than 1 shortlisted photo per entrant.

Who can enter the competition?
Anyone can enter, but entrants must be aged 18 or over, or have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian.
How many photos can I submit?
You can submit up to 2 photos. You can upload them together or separately at any time before the deadline on 19 July 2026.
Do my photos have to be taken at Wimbledon in 2026?
No. Photos can be from any year and can be taken inside, outside, while travelling to Wimbledon, or anywhere else that clearly reflects the Wimbledon experience.
Can I edit my photos before submitting them?
Yes, but only for minor adjustments. Cropping, exposure correction, colour adjustment, focus enhancement, and light balancing are allowed (including standard phone camera edits and built-in filters). However, you must not add, remove, or materially alter any elements in the image. AI-generated images are strictly prohibited.
Do I keep the copyright in my photos?
Yes, you retain full ownership and copyright of your images. By entering, you simply grant Green & Purple a perpetual, non-exclusive license to feature your photos on our website and social media profiles.
How will the winners be selected and notified?
Winners will be selected by our panel of guest judges (Radka Leitmeritz and Antoine Couvercelle) based on technical execution, composition, and how well the image captures the authentic spirit of the theme. Once chosen, winners will be announced on our website, Instagram, Facebook and on the Eye of Photography
Can I submit photos taken in previous years?
Yes. Photos can be from any year.
