Wimbledon 2022 - day 3 Round-up

All the highlights from Day 3 of The Championships, Wimbledon 2022

Two of the top seeds were knocked out today:

2nd seed Anett Kontaveit and 3rd seed Casper Ruud were beaten by Jule Niemeier and Ugo Humbert respectively.

Two of the big names in the top half, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, both won easily, and Jannik Sinner won in four sets.

Emma Raducanu was knocked out by Caroline Garcia, and Andy Murray was beaten by big-serving John Isner, but compatriot Cameron Norrie came through in five sets against Jaume Munar.

Ons Jabeur, Maria Sakkari and Karolina Pliskova also advanced.
