February 2023
As the 2023 tennis season gains momentum, the second month promises to deliver more action-packed matches across various surfaces and events.
Women's Events
The Abu Dhabi WTA 500 kicks off on February 6th with players like Elena Rybakina, Daria Kasatkina and Belinda Bencic set to compete. The following week, the Doha WTA 500 boasts a strong field of 18 out of the top 20 players. Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Jessica Pegula, and Caroline Garcia are all set to play. Dubai's WTA 1000 event features all the top 14 players and only two of the top 31 are absent. Jelena Ostapenko will aim to defend her title.
Men's Events
February features ATP 500 level events on indoor hard, outdoor hard, and clay. Rotterdam ATP 500, with players such as Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, and defending champion Felix Auger-Aliassime, is the indoor hard court event. The Golden Swing, a series of clay court events in South America, culminates in the Rio de Janeiro ATP 500, with Carlos Alcaraz, Cameron Norrie, Lorenzo Musetti, and Dominic Thiem scheduled to play.
Later in the month, there are ATP 500 events on the outdoor hard courts in Acapulco and Dubai, featuring players like Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Andrey Rublev. However, Nadal's participation is uncertain due to injury troubles in Australia.
We had a great time on Saturday
"Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time on Saturday and that it all went smoothly. I didn't realise it was better than making a booking in a restaurant, but even then we were very lucky to get a beautiful table for 6 at the Wingfield restaurant. It was the only one available! Thanks for helping me organise this nice day with the family and let's stay in touch for future years."
