The Month Ahead in Tennis - February 2026

This month sees events in Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East. 

Alcaraz, Sinner, Djokovic set to return in Doha

The Rotterdam ATP 500 will be headlined by Alex Zverev, Alex de Minaur and Alex Bublik, with Jack Draper expected to return to the ATP Tour here after injury. The ATP 500 in Dallas the same week will see Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud go for the title.

The week after, the Doha ATP 500 currently has Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic entered, and the Rio de Janeiro ATP 500 on clay has Francisco Cerundolo and Joao Fonseca as the South American headliners.

The final week in February sees Daniil Medvedev, Felix-Auger-Aliassime and Draper play in Dubai, and Zverev, Lorenzo Musetti and de Minaur feature in Acapulco.

First WTA 1000 events of 2026 taking place in Middle East

The Abu Dhabi WTA 500 taking place this week has Belinda Bencic as the top seed. Amanda Anisimova will aim to defend her Doha WTA 1000 title, with Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina expected to return to action here. Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff are also entered.

All of the above will also play in Dubai the week after, competing for the WTA 1000 title won by Mirra Andreeva last year, who is also playing. Emma Navarro will aim to defend her Merida WTA 500 title, with Daria Kasatkina and Diana Shnaider also playing.
