July 2025

July promises to be a memorable month in the tennis world, with the Championships taking place.

Alcaraz aims for three-peat

It has been some summer for Alcaraz, having only lost 1 of his last 27 matches, stretching back to Monte Carlo in April. He comes into the event having won the Queen’s title, and Wimbledon two years in a row. Fabio Fognini will be Alcaraz's First Round opponent.

Jannik Sinner opens against Luca Nardi, and will be keen to avenge his Roland Garros Final loss, and he could meet Alcaraz in the Final here. However, a rare early exit in Halle means the Italian only has two grass court matches under his belt this year.

7-time champion Novak Djokovic has been beaten by Alcaraz in the last two Wimbledon Finals, and comes into the tournament having not played since Roland Garros. Jack Draper could face Djokovic in the Quarter Finals, and he leads 13 British men in the field. Alex Zverev will hope to improve on his best result here of the Fourth Round, having been a Finalist at every other Grand Slam.

Another new Ladies champion more than possible

Since Serena Williams’ last Wimbledon title in 2016, no woman has won the title twice. Barbora Krejcikova maintained that run last year after beating Jasmine Paolini in the Final and her title defence will begin against Alexandra Eala.

Many of the biggest names in women’s tennis: Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff to name a few, have not won Wimbledon, but that could change this year. Swiatek and Gauff would face off in the Quarter Finals, if they both get there.

Emma Raducanu, Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal lead home hopes on the women’s side, with 7 other British women gaining wildcards. Two-time champion Petra Kvitova plays her last Wimbledon, and will face 10th seed Emma Navarro.

Wimbledon testimonal

It was an easy process

"I thought I'd send you a short note to thank you for dealing so efficiently with my Wimbledon debentures in 2021. It was an easy process to sell the days I didn't want to Green and Purple and payment was made promptly. I look forward to dealing with you again in the future."
