November 2024
The ATP and WTA seasons will come to a close in November, with the WTA Finals in Riyadh, and the ATP Finals in Turin.
Sabalenka top seed heading into Riyadh
The field is set for the WTA Finals and the draw has been made. Aryna Sabalenka headlines the Purple Group, with Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina and Qinwen Zheng completing the group. Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula and Barbora Krejcikova are in the Orange Group.
Unlike other tournaments, the WTA Finals group stages will be in a round robin format, with the top two from each group advancing to the Semi Finals. Iga Swiatek is the defending champion, but it's looking likely that Sabalenka will finish the year as world number 1.
Turin qualification decided in Paris
At time of writing, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alex Zverev, Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz have qualified for the ATP Finals, with three spots up for grabs. Novak Djokovic is currently in sixth place in the race, but is not defending his title in Paris and has indicated he may not play in Turin, if he qualifies.
Casper Ruud and Andrey Rublev occupy the last two spots, with the likes of Alex de Minaur and Grigor Dimitrov having a chance to qualify with a strong run in the French capital, especially if Djokovic decides not to play. Sinner withdrew from the event before his first match due to illness.
It was an easy process
"I thought I'd send you a short note to thank you for dealing so efficiently with my Wimbledon debentures in 2021. It was an easy process to sell the days I didn't want to Green and Purple and payment was made promptly. I look forward to dealing with you again in the future."
