Wimbledon 2022 - day 1 Round-up

All the highlights from Day 1 of The Championships, Wimbledon 2022:

• Defending champion Novak Djokovic survived a scare from an inspired Soon-Woo Kwon in his opening match, advancing in four sets.
• Carlos Alcaraz came through in a tough five-setter against big-hitting Jan-Lennard Struff.
• Casper Ruud also advanced, but Hubert Hurkacz was knocked out in a five-setter by Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
• Emma Raducanu overcame recent injury problems to beat Alison van Uytvanck, as did Andy Murray against James Duckworth.
• Ons Jabeur began her tournament with a win, as did Anett Kontaveit.
