A ticket to Wimbledon entitles you to spend the whole day at the Championships. What you can do while you are there depends on the type of ticket you have.
Show Court tickets
Whether you have a Wimbledon Debenture Ticket, or you obtained your Wimbledon ticket in the Wimbledon Queue, the Public Ballot or the Overseas Ballot, your ticket is valid for the whole day.
Show Court tickets are valid for a designated seat number. You can leave and return to your seat as often as you wish. You can even leave and return to the Wimbledon Grounds on the same day.

Ground Pass
If you have a Wimbledon Ground Pass you are also entitled to spend the whole day in the Grounds. You can watch the action on the Outside Courts on a first come, first served basis. You will not have a reserved seat, however, and you will lose the seat if you leave the court.

What time does the Tournament open and close?
The Wimbledon Grounds open daily at 10am.
See also: What time should I arrive at the Wimbledon Championships?
The Grounds close 45 minutes after the end of the last match. In practice, matches can go on late into the evening - right up to a 11pm deadline imposed by Merton Council.

Can I leave early?
Yes. You can leave the Tournament whenever you like.
If you don't intend to return, the Club asks spectators return their tickets when exiting the Grounds. Returned tickets are then made available for sale at the Resale Kiosk and can be purchased by people waiting in the returned tickets queue.
The proceeds of re-sold tickets are donated to charity.
Can I leave the Grounds and still return?
Yes. You can leave and re-enter the Grounds at any stage during the day that your ticket is valid for.
If you are going to return on the same day you will be asked to collect a ‘pass-out wristband’ from Gates 5 or 13.
You will also need to have your e-ticket scanned when you leave and re-enter the Grounds.

We had a great time on Saturday
"Just wanted to let you know that we had a great time on Saturday and that it all went smoothly. I didn’t realise it was better than making a booking in a restaurant, but even then we were very lucky to get a beautiful table for 6 at the Wingfield restaurant. It was the only one available! Thanks for helping me organise this nice day with the family and let’s stay in touch for future years."
