FAQs

Can I withdraw my offer?

Yes. You can withdraw your offer at any stage until the seller accepts your offer.

After an offer is accepted (or you accept a counteroffer), you get a 2 hour Checkout Exclusivity Period to pay. After it ends you can still pay, but the seller may accept other offers. If another offer is accepted, you cannot pay during that buyer's exclusivity period. Outside the exclusivity period, the seller can retract and close an accepted offer.

How do offers work for buyers?

You submit an offer on a ticket listing and the seller then has 72 hours to accept, decline, or counteroffer. You can make up to 5 offers per ticket listing negotiation. If your offer is accepted (or you accept a counteroffer), you then need to pay to complete the purchase.

Are my tickets covered by a guarantee?

Yes, every purchase through Green & Purple is covered by our Debenture Ticket Guarantee.

How do you protect buyers?

Tickets are issued as e-tickets via the official myWimbledon app and the process is integrated with it. Payment is released to the seller only after the buyer has received and confirmed the tickets.

When will I receive my tickets?

All Wimbledon tickets are e-tickets held in the official myWimbledon mobile app, and are scanned on the app when you enter the Wimbledon grounds.

When you purchase your tickets, you will receive an email explaining how to download the myWimbledon app.

Your tickets will be transferred to your myWimbledon account as soon as we receive them and:

  • At least 7 days before the event for tickets bought a week or more before the event date.
  • At least 1 day before the event for tickets bought within a week of the event date.
  • In time for entry on the day for last-minute purchases (bought within 48 hours of the start of play).

We ensure all tickets are transferred in time for you to access the Wimbledon grounds.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

In the event that the day or days for which Tickets have been purchased and/or the tournament as a whole is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to any act of Force Majeure, you will be entitled to a refund from the Seller.

All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations, as outlined in the Terms and conditions.

If your plans change after buying, whether because of a change in circumstances or a cancelled flight, you can relist your Wimbledon debenture tickets for sale through the Green & Purple marketplace. This gives buyers a practical way to try to recover their money if they can no longer attend.

Because Green & Purple supports both advance and last minute debenture ticket sales, tickets can be resold even close to the event date, subject to demand, with our team helping to manage the transfer process on your behalf.

For more information, see: Can I Resell My Tickets If I Can No Longer Attend?

Can I resell my debenture tickets?

Because Green & Purple supports both advance and last minute debenture ticket sales, tickets can be resold even close to the event date, subject to demand, with our team helping to manage the transfer process on your behalf.
