FAQs
Are my tickets covered by a guarantee?
Yes. Every Green & Purple purchase is covered by our Debenture Ticket Guarantee.
How does Green & Purple protect buyers?
We verify sellers, manage payment and receive the tickets from the seller through myWimbledon before transferring them to you. Seller proceeds are released only after you have received the tickets, subject to our security checks.
How do I buy debenture tickets on Green & Purple?
Choose your court and day, compare the available listings and either use Buy Now or make an offer. Once payment is complete, the tickets are transferred through the official myWimbledon system.
After annual seat allocation, you can also compare exact gangway, row and seat numbers before buying.
Do I need a myWimbledon account before I buy?
No. You can browse and buy before setting up myWimbledon, but you will need a free myWimbledon account and the Official Wimbledon App to receive and use your mobile tickets.
How can I pay for my tickets?
You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal or direct bank transfer.
Are there any buyer fees?
No. Green & Purple does not add booking, service or guarantee fees. You pay the price shown or agreed with the seller.
How do I make an offer and negotiate with a seller?
Sign in and make an offer on the listing. The seller has up to 2 days to accept, decline or counter. You can make up to 5 offers in each ticket negotiation and all negotiations are anonymous and price-only.
When will I receive my tickets?
The AELTC distributes digital debenture tickets closer to The Championships. If you buy before your seller has received them, we transfer them to you as soon as they become available to us.
Our standard ticket delivery policy is:
- at least 7 days before play for tickets bought a week or more in advance;
- at least 1 day before play for tickets bought within a week; and
- in time for entry for last-minute purchases.
Will the seats be together?
Yes. Tickets sold together in the same Green & Purple listing are consecutive seats. Once exact seats have been allocated, the individual seat numbers are shown on the listing.
Can I buy single tickets, pairs or larger groups?
Yes. Listings can include single tickets, pairs, odd numbers or larger groups, subject to availability. Where a seller has several adjacent seats, these may also be listed together.
Can I resell my tickets if I can no longer attend?
Yes. If you bought your Wimbledon debenture tickets through Green & Purple and can no longer attend, you can relist them on the marketplace once the tickets are available in myWimbledon.
Resale is subject to buyer demand and is not guaranteed.
